After the facial features are extracted, and the facial landmarks, positions, size, scale, etc. are learned by the software, it creates a unique feature vector for every face in a numeric form. These vector codes are also known as faceprints, much like fingerprints in biometric attendance system. And after this step comes the last part of the process of face-matching.
It is the final step in the process. After completing the first three steps, the vector codes or the faceprints are compared with other facial codes into the database. The database has all the information of the users who already registered their faces. Face matching is done to check whether or not the face belongs to the same person.
