The Industrial Model with Finger is a biometric attendance and access control device designed for demanding industrial environments. It uses fingerprint authentication to identify employees and is particularly suitable for manufacturing units, factories, warehouses, and godowns.
The device is designed specifically for industrial workplaces where standard biometric machines may face challenges due to heavy usage and harsh surroundings. Star Link’s industrial devices use a strong mild-steel outer body that is powder-coated or painted for greater durability.
An employee’s fingerprint is registered in the biometric system. During attendance, the employee places the registered finger on the scanner, and the system verifies the fingerprint before recording the attendance transaction.
Yes. The Industrial Model with Finger can be used for biometric employee identification, attendance management, and controlled access applications. Finger-based access control allows registered employees to enter authorized areas while unregistered users can be denied access.
Yes. Depending on the model configuration, industrial devices can support fingerprint, EM/Smart Card, or card-with-fingerprint authentication modes. The exact combination depends on the selected configuration.
Industrial biometric machines are designed to withstand heavier usage and tougher workplace conditions. Star Link’s industrial models use a stronger metal body, large and clearly marked punch areas, and prominent red and green indicators so employees can easily understand whether their attendance has been successfully recorded.
Yes. The Industrial Model with Finger is intended for industrial environments where many employees may need to record attendance within a short period. Its industrial construction and easy-to-understand indicators are designed to support high-volume workplace attendance operations.
Yes. The device is suitable for environments such as manufacturing units, factories, warehouses, and godowns, where stronger attendance hardware may be required because of environmental and operational conditions.
The industrial device uses prominent red and green indicators to provide a simple visual confirmation. The green indication signifies a successful attendance transaction, while the red indication indicates that the transaction was not successfully recorded. This makes the system easier to operate for large industrial workforces.
The appropriate configuration depends on the number of employees, attendance requirements, authentication method, workplace environment, access-control requirements, and required software integration. Organizations can choose a fingerprint-focused configuration or a model supporting combinations such as fingerprint, card, or card with fingerprint according to their operational needs.
