Crony readers are contactless card readers. They have a Red/Green Indicator and a Buzzer for audible and visual feedback. It has a weatherproof IP 65 that makes these readers water-resistant and thus, they are suitable for outdoor and other applications as well.

This Reader Support contactless 13.56MHz Smart Card and its communication interface is RS485 preventing the reader to make any electrical noise. Its communication protocol allows up to 15 readers on single node (a door controller).
