For the unaware, go through our report on biometric attendance system <a href=\"https:\/\/www.starlinkindia.com\/Blog\/time-attendance-machines-introduced-in-koraput-odisha-to-curb-absenteeism-2\/\"><strong>being implemented<\/strong><\/a> in Koraput, Odisha.<\/p>\n<p>Private sector DCB Bank, that has a network of 176 branches &amp; 400 ATMs, has developed and launched an Aadhaar-based ATM that uses fingerprint data linked to customer\u2019s Aadhaar details, rather than requiring a debit card\/ ATM card, for transactions. Customers will now be able to transact simply using their fingerprints, free of the fears of their debit card being stolen\/ lost and the botheration of having to carry it. They will, however, have to input their Aadhaar number instead. This is a first in India.<\/p>\n<p>This solution involves connecting with the Aadhaar server for performing of transactions.<br \/>\nInitially, only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dcbbank.com\/\"><strong>DCB Bank<\/strong> <\/a>customers would be able to use the service, Murali M.
