Our attendance and access control systems can work with
any of the following three types of cards:
- Smart Card - these contact less 1K/4K mifare smart card has 13.56 MHz
carrier frequencies. The reading distance is up to 60mm.
- Proximity Card - these cards has EM 125KHz carrier frequencies with a
reading distance up to 120mm. These cards are available in ISO type /
clamshell type.
- Drop Type Optical Cards - These 14 bit cards support only numeric
card.
Based on most advance MIFARE technology, our smart card
readers have 2 Megabyte memory i.e. 62500 records. It take attendance with
card flash at a maximum distance of 60 mm. This system provides visual as
well as audio conformation of attendance by showing the name and code of the
employee on a display having 16 alphanumeric characters and a small beep.
Smart cards for these systems are provided with in built electronic chip
having 1 KB memory to store employee related information. These smart card readers
can also be used for multiple applications e.g. attendance, access control &
canteen management.
Based on most recent MIFARE technology, our proximity
card readers have 128 KB memory i.e. 24,000 records. Marking attendance is
very easy with this system as it takes just a card flash from a maximum
distance of 60 mm. Afterwards it provides both visual and audio conformation
of attendance through a 16 alphanumeric characters display and a small beep.

Our specially designed drop types optical readers are
provided with in built printer and manual keypad to generate on-spot reports.
These card readers can store 24,000 records. Provided with 48 hours battery
backup, these systems are very effective for SMEs. Its cards can be provided
either as d-cum-attendance cards or plain attendance cards, which cannot be
duplicated or altered due to concealed coding. The main features of these
card readers include:
Biometric Card Reader, is a unique reader, which is highly recommended to avoid
proxy punching and specially, where the SECURITY is a big concern. These
readers are readily available with twin finger registration facility, which
can be increased or reduced on customer's demand. The person has to put the
finger on sensor to mark successful attendance. Finger print verification
can be used with following options:
- Smart card with Finger Print
- Pin with Finger Print
- Only Finger
Starlink biometric attendance systems have some special features:
- Storage capacity of finger templates in Star Link attendance systems
is 9000
- Sensing area is 16x19mm
- Image size is 272x320 pixels
- Verification time is less than 0.5 seconds for 95% cases
- False Rejection Rate (FRR) is less than 0.001%
- False Acceptance Rate (FAR) is less than 0.01%
- Processor: 32 bit RISC micro controller
- Scanner: Optical CMOS
- Finger registration up to 4000 Users
- 2 Mega-byte flash with data storage of 62500 Records with 8 digit
alpha-numeric user ID
- Memory card support up to 1GB
- Operation temperature 5 - 50 Degree Celsius
This mode is most common every user will have one ID cum
attendance smart card. This is 1:1 finger print matching mode which is fast
and reliable. If finger print data is not to maintain in readers, finger
print template can be store in smart card.
This mode is suitable if ID card not required and
issuing smart card per user is out of budget. In this mode first user enter
its ID through key board then its finger is verified. This is 1:1 finger
print matching. This is slow process because entering ID through keyboard
takes time.
In this mode user simply put finger on reader and reader
identify user. No card is required but this is 1:N machine which is prone to
errors and can be used where per reader user's are less then 200.
